David Paganel joins Du Rhône: press release
We are delighted to announce that Du Rhône will be collaborating with the inspiring master chocolatier David Paganel.
He is the Salvador Dali of the chocolate world, partly thanks to his moustache, but mainly because he elevates every mouthful he creates into a delicious work of art. This passionate craftsman has been listed in Gault & Millau, working for renowned establishments in London, Paris and Zurich, amongst others, before settling in Geneva. In his 30 years there, he has fostered a strong emotional link to the city.
Like a great stylist, David Paganel brings his passion and audacity to the heart of Maison Du Rhône, the oldest chocolaterie in Geneva (1875). His quest to find new flavours in the beans, for new ingredients and forms, is a perfect match for the approach of Du Rhône Haute Chocolaterie.
The historic boutique at 118 Rue du Rhône will remain the flagship for customers who want to buy exceptional chocolates or enjoy them at the boutique. The creative laboratory, however, will be moved to the Espace Paganel at 71 Rue de Carouge. It is here that future creations and original trends will be developed.
The creative workshops, which are open to the public, will be based at this stunning space at 71 Rue de Carouge. It provides the perfect place for visitors to immerse themselves in the magical world of chocolate, creating their own delicacies.
Yours, in chocolate,
